'Streets of San Francisco' was my absolute favourite.
Even as a child it spoke to me transporting me to America.
' Only fools and horses ' would be my comedy favourite.

At the present time all background music is dire. The background soundtrack on films is meaningless and too loud. To find a decent and memorable one I have to go back to "The French Connection"!!! There are others but they are rare.

Favourite film theme is the main theme in the fim ''Badlands' - Carl Orff 'Gassenhauser'. Google it. Takes me off elsewhere sir.
Best tv theme has to be for me 'Bagpuss'. It manages to capture our favourite saggy cloth cat at the height of his powers, at the time of his Berlin cocaine era, the perfect theme tune to the the tale of a lazy fat old stuffed cloth cat whiling away his days lolling about in the window of and old tat and brick a brack shop with his mate Professor Yaffle, their days soundtracked by the duscirdant toot of an old mouse organ
